sagitogo is made for children to use, with a parent or guardian setting it up. This policy is written so a parent can read the whole thing in a few minutes and know exactly what happens to their family’s information. A shorter, plainer version is in the app itself — Parent Dashboard → Privacy & support.
sagitogo is published by QNL LTD, 92 Cloonmore Avenue, Orpington, Kent, BR6 9LQ, company number 09869549 — the same company that publishes Sagito. QNL LTD is the data controller. Questions about this policy, or about data held about you, go to support@sagitogo.app. QNL LTD has not appointed a Data Protection Officer and is not required to.
Because the app sends nothing to us, we hold no personal data about you or your child and have nothing to look up, export or delete on your behalf. Everything is on your device, under your control.
Everything sagitogo knows about your family stays on your device. There is no sagitogo account, no sign-in, and no sagitogo server at all — so there is nowhere for your child’s name, progress or anything they’ve typed to go, and nobody to send it to.
The only other parties sagitogo ever talks to are Apple or Google, when you choose to buy the one-off unlock, and only to process that purchase.
All of it is stored only on this device, in the app’s own private storage area (not a shared folder, not visible to other apps):
Never kept, anywhere: your location, what anyone looks like in real life, how old a child is, your name, your email address, or anything typed into a message to someone else. There is no chat inside sagitogo.
The camera is used for exactly one thing: reading a QR code a friend shows you on their own screen, to receive a robot card they’ve sent. It works the way a shop’s barcode scanner does. No photo is ever taken, and nothing from the camera is ever saved.
A sent robot-card code carries only: a one-off id, which card it is, whether it’s an upgraded copy, and when it was made. It does not carry either child’s name or anything else about who sent it or who it’s for.
A sent card is a gift, not a request — once the code is made, it can’t be taken back or declined, only opened or left unopened. If nobody opens it within 7 days, it’s gone.
The one-off unlock is paid for and processed entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play — never by sagitogo directly. No card number, billing address or other payment detail ever reaches the app. Checking what’s already been bought, and completing a purchase, are the only times sagitogo’s network connection is used, and nothing about your child is part of that conversation.
Delete everything on this device, in Parent Dashboard, erases every family member, all of their progress, the record of which gift codes have already been opened, the unlock flag, and the parent PIN and recovery word themselves.
What it cannot reach: a robot card already sent to or received from another family, and your phone’s own backups — if your phone backs itself up to iCloud or a Google account, a copy of sagitogo’s data may exist there until that backup is itself deleted or ages out.
Uninstalling the app does the same thing on most phones, with one difference some devices handle differently: a small number of Android configurations may not clear the Keychain-equivalent PIN automatically on uninstall. Using “Delete everything on this device” before uninstalling is the surest way to leave nothing behind.
Nobody, besides Apple or Google for the one purchase-related check above. sagitogo has no analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting service and no third-party tracking of any kind built into it.
sagitogo is built for use by children, with a parent or guardian choosing to install it and setting the parent PIN. No account or sign-in is ever asked of a child, no personal detail beyond an optional nickname and a drawn avatar is ever collected, and nothing is ever shared outside the device without a parent’s own action.
Under UK GDPR you and your child have rights to see, correct, delete and object to the use of personal data. Because everything is on your device, these are things you do yourself rather than ask us for — all of them are in Parent Dashboard, behind the PIN:
Because we hold nothing ourselves, there is no request you can make to us that would produce data we’re sitting on — but if any of the above doesn’t work the way this page says, tell us at support@sagitogo.app and we’ll fix it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.
If what sagitogo does with data ever changes, this page changes with it, and the version inside a given build of the app reflects what that build actually does.
